ART TOUR MOSCOW May 2009

Choose a date for the trip between 9. ?18.5.2009

This year again we are offering the opportunity to participate in this unique art tour of the dynamic European metropolis with its exciting art scene. The daily program of our art tour includes all the important or special art museums and institutions, galleries and ateliers of Moscow. We also offer special access to private collections and archives not normally accessible to the public. There will be many talks and meetings with collectors, artists and curators.

Every evening we offer the possibility to visit openings, receptions and parties, which make it possible to meet the actors in Moscow?s contemporary art scene. Evening meals will be organized together with curators and artists in interesting bars and restaurants. Important parts of the Art Tour 2009 will be a visit to Kremlin, to the Tretjakov art gallery, and to Winzavod, the new centre for galleries and exhibitions in Moscow. It is flanked by special exhibitions.

We will stay in the beautiful Hotel Izmailovo, which was built for the Olympic Games in the 80s.
The daily schedule includes precise details of addresses, with telephone numbers and details of the nearest metro stations. The guided tours will be held partly in German, partly in English. The fantastic Moscow Metro will be our principle means of transport. Buses will be organized for a few events.
Prior to the tour we offer, per email, continuous preparatory information about Moscow, about the contemporary discourse about Russian art, a literature list etc.

It is possible for you to choose a date for the trip during the period 9. ? 18. May, for example: as a short trip 14. - 17. May or a long trip 9. ? 17 May (for each trip there will be a minimum of 10, a maximum of 16 people).
Prospective prices of a double room from Euro 535,- (short date in the double room, single plus 200,-) to Euro 825,- (short date in the double room, single plus 392,-). Included in the price of the double room (standard) is the breakfast buffet in Hotel Izmailovo, numerous admissions as well as a competent guided tour and our program.
The flights are not included in the offer. There are cheap flights less than Euro 100,-, if booked early.
